Resolved. The issue started around 9AM EST and was fully resolved around 11:30AM EST. Over the Thanksgiving Holiday, our engineers used the low traffic time to perform two engineering upgrades to our servers. These upgrades had gone through our normal test processes and environments without issue. We monitored the upgrades in production over the holiday weekend and saw improved performance and no issues. It was not until the Monday’s post-holiday server load hit that the performance issues were signaled. Once our engineers were alerted, we were able to disable the performance optimization and return system performance to normal.
